Training Organisation (RTO Number 60156) that was established in 1980 first established in Tasmania. Over the past few years NJL expanded our services to deliver training to the Northern Territory, Queensland, New South Wales and South Australia. Throughout this period we have made available and provided a diverse range of services to the community servicing approximately 1500 students at any one time. These services encompass metropolitan, regional and remote clients covering a range of qualifications and courses. NJL has a broad range of expertise in many areas and we offer a range of services to business, employers, Job seekers, young people and the general public.
NJL has been awarded a number of Federally funded programs in the Fitzroy region :
Transition to Work: catering for 15 to 21 years and is part of the Australian Government’s Youth Employment Strategy. The programme commenced in February 2016 across Australia. National Joblink operates this program from its Gladstone, Rockhampton and North Rockhampton offices. The Transition to Work service provides intensive, pre-employment support to improve the work-readiness of young people to help them into work (including apprenticeships and traineeships) or education.
Employability Skills Training (EST PaTH): NJL work closely with Jobactive providers delivering employability skills and Job readiness training to their participants, we develop participants foundations skills through the undertaking of enterprise learning projects that assist young people gain entrepreneurial skills and develop employer and community connections.
Parents Next: NJL have recently been awarded Parents Next for the Fitzroy Region to commence on the 2nd of July 2018, where we assist parents with young children to prepare for future work and or study through developing their Job readiness and employability skills.
