Is your life affected by mental illness? Care and support is available for people coping with the effects of mental health. Whether it is you, or you are family, or maybe a carer or friend, you may appreciate additional support. Personal Helpers & Mentors (PHaMs) services are available to people living in the North and South Burnett. Two community organisations, IMPACT Community Services and CTC Kingaroy have come together in partnership to support people with mental health needs. Support staff are located in Mundubbera, Murgon and Nanango. IMPACT’s PHaMs service increases opportunities for recovery for people whose lives are affected by mental illness. We focus on your strengths and your recovery – helping you work towards leading a fulfilled life in your community. Your own support worker is someone who is there for you. PHaMs staff will work with you to develop individual recovery goals and plans to achieve your goals. They help you access opportunities, support and services which help you on your recovery journey. No one is judged and everyone is welcome. Do not feel alone – talk to us today.
