Description of service
Provides free, confidential and impartial mediation services to the community and handles a wide range of disputes including neighbour disputes, workplace conflict, family matters, commercial disputes and court ordered matters. Also facilitates multi-party meetings in communities including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander management committees, social clubs and organisations. In addition, The Dispute Resolution Branch provides a variety of training in the area of conflict management. After hours mediations are conducted by appointment.
